Jeep Wrangler vs Ford Bronco

As two of the most iconic off-roading vehicles, the 2021 Jeep Wrangler and 2021 Ford Bronco come with legendary capabilities for any type of adventure around Medford, Malden, Everett, and beyond.

On top of that, though, what will these two SUVs provide you with? Our Grava CDJR team took a closer look at the Jeep Wrangler vs. Ford Bronco below to find out.

Wrangler vs Bronco: 0ff-Roading Performance

Most drivers are aware of the off-roading capabilities both of these SUVs provide. With either, you can configure your new Jeep Wrangler or Bronco to handle any type of terrain. They each can be configured to give you great ground clearance and the ability to drive through shallow water crossings.

With an approach angle that reaches up to 44 degrees, compared to the maximum approach angle of 43.2 degrees the 2021 Bronco has, the Jeep Wrangler can safely climb up steeper hills and trails.

You can also see the advanced engineering put into either car that allows you to have extreme fun and confidence while off-roading. They each have advanced systems that can keep a steady speed while riding over rocks or through sand so you can just focus on steering.

The new Jeep Wrangler also features an available Forward-Facing Off-Road Camera. This way, you can stay aware of any upcoming obstacles or obstructions along the trails.

Everyday Performance in the Jeep Wrangler vs Ford Bronco

Beyond that, though, we wanted to see what kind of performance these two vehicles provide in terms of everyday performance out on the paved streets.

Each vehicle has multiple engine options. With either SUV, you can get enough power from the engine to tow up to 3,500 pounds. However, the standard V6 engine in the 2021 Wrangler produces 285 horsepower, while the standard 2.3L I4 engine in the Bronco only creates up to 270 horsepower.

They each also come standard with a part-time 4X4 system, which lets you turn on and off the 4WD when needed. The 2021 Jeep Wrangler also provides a more smooth and comfortable driving experience along the paved streets since the 2021 Bronco is really built with off-road driving as its main priority. This Jeep SUV also has a sharp turning diameter, which makes it easy to maneuver around town and crowded parking lots.

Jeep Wrangler Interior Technology

Loaded with Technology

Within either model, there are a range of technology systems that add more safety, convenience, and enjoyment to your drive. The 2021 Wrangler has a few innovative features, though, that aren’t found in the Ford Bronco.

With available Jeep Skill for Amazon Alexa, you can get ready for your commute before you even step inside your Jeep SUV. This will let you use your smart device in your home to check how much gas you have left, get the engine started, and even have directions sent right to the Wrangler.

Each SUV also has safety systems that can assist you while driving. Only the 2021 Jeep Wrangler, though, has the available ParkSense® Rear Park Assist System, which will help you back into open spaces or parallel park.
