If you’re in need of a spacious vehicle or looking to add some more power and adventure to your journeys beyond the Medford, Malden, and Everett area, you may want to consider getting behind the wheel of a Jeep. However, you’ll want to figure out which Jeep model is the one for you.

At Grava Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, we’re here to help drivers learn more about the Jeep lineup so they can determine which Jeep is best for them!

Compact Jeep Options

Jeep Compass LimitedIf you’re looking for a spacious crossover or SUV that’s more on the compact side, so you can find city parking easily or weave through congested lanes on the highway, there are a few options in the Jeep family that you may want to consider:

Jeep Renegade

The Renegade is a stylish and agile Jeep model that’s actually the most compact in the whole lineup. It is powered by a 180-horsepower 2.4-liter Tigershark® MultiAir® 2 4-cylinder engine capable of outputting 175 lb-ft of torque. It offers enough seating for five passengers, as well as some room for cargo. The Renegade includes 18.5 cubic feet of cargo space which expands to 50.8 cubic feet when the second row is folded flat.

Jeep Compass

The Jeep Compass is larger than the Renegade and has more of a rounded body style. It has the same output as the Renegade because it also includes the 2.4-liter Tigershark® MultiAir® 2 engine. But while there are slight similarities, the Compass expands its cabin and offers 27.2 cubic feet of cargo space which can reach 59.8 cubic feet when the second row is folded flat.

Spacious Jeep SUV Options

If style and power are at the top of your list, almost all the Jeep models meet this criteria, but there are two models in mind that stick out. The Jeep Cherokee and Grand Cherokee certainly add a lot to your routine trips or your lengthy road trips.

Jeep Cherokee

The Cherokee offers its drivers three engine options. There’s the 180-horsepower-capable 2.4-liter Tigershark® MultiAir® 2 4-cylinder, the 3.2-liter Pentastar® V6 that boasts 271 horsepower, or even the new 2.0-liter Direct Injection Turbo, which generates 270 horsepower. The Cherokee seats five with ample space inside. There’s 25.8 cubic feet of cargo space and 54.7 cubic feet if you fold the second row down flat.

Jeep Grand Cherokee Interior

Jeep Grand Cherokee

The Grand Cherokee is the most spacious of the Jeep lineup. It offers 36.3 cubic feet of cargo space, but that area can open up to 68.3 cubic feet. As for power, the Grand Cherokee offers a slew of impressive engine options.

It starts out with the 3.6-liter Pentastar® V6 that can boast up to 295 horsepower. However, the vehicle even includes three optional V8 options. Their abilities range from 360 horsepower to a whopping 707 horsepower.

Powerful Performers

2020 Jeep Gladiator TowingAre you looking to put your Jeep to the test? Are you planning on going off the beaten path and onto the rugged one? Jeep offers plenty of drive systems to accommodate the more adventurous drivers, but here’s the top two for drivers looking for rugged abilities and thrills.

Jeep Wrangler

The Jeep Wrangler is the iconic model that still carries its original aesthetic, but with upgraded abilities. There are plenty of drive systems to consider, whether you’re looking to tackle weather-torn roads or rocky paths. It’s powered by the 3.6-liter Pentastar® V6 engine capable of 285 horsepower, though drivers can opt for the new 2.0-liter Direct-Injection Turbo which boasts 270 horsepower.

Jeep Gladiator

The new Jeep Gladiator takes the look and abilities of the Wrangler and adds a pickup truck bed to it. It offers the best of both worlds for drivers looking for a truck that’s also fun to drive off road. It includes the 3.6-liter Pentastar® V6 that generates 285 horsepower, but it also gives the Gladiator the ability to tow up to 7,650 pounds when properly equipped. Its cargo box can hold up to 35.5 cubic feet of materials.

Interior Jeep Features

All Jeep models include the Uconnect® systems, which are dashboard-mounted touchscreens that range between five inches and 8.4 inches. Each model also includes Integrated Voice Command with Bluetooth®, which lets you select your media options and phone contacts by voice so you can keep your hands on the wheel. Drivers also have the option of the 1-year trial subscription of SiriusXM® Satellite Radio, which provides access to more than 1000 commercial-free stations.
